We are thrilled to share a recent success story, a KD7075A tablet deduster specially modified for a customer in France, has been successfully commissioned. The KD7075A is a wash in place OEB 5 deduster, tested and certified to SMEPAC standards. This is another example of how Kramer AG takes the needs of our customers seriously.
Our customer was faced with the challenge of needing a tablet deduster with the lowest possible overall height to ensure optimum ergonomics and easy handling, but at the same time high enough for efficient filling of their specific containers. By adapting the overall height of our KD7075A and the novel arrangement of the mediabox as well as a separate support for the metal detector, we were able to develop a solution that fits perfectly into their existing production process. The fact that our customer already owns one of our very reliable E5000 wash in place dedusters played an important role in their decision to choose Krämer AG. It shows their continued confidence in our dedusters and our long-term contribution to efficient production processes.
It is a great pleasure and confirmation of our work that the solution meets these critical requirements and contributes to the success of their processes. Of course, we are also happy to have a positive impact on the customers' work with our solutions.

A festive evening for Krämer AG at "X-MAS-SHOW Dinnerspektakel"!
Last week we had the pleasure of enjoying a festive atmosphere at the "X-MAS-SHOW - Dinnerspektakel". It was a special evening where many of us came together to celebrate the year.
The company dinner gave us the opportunity to relax a bit. We laughed, enjoyed and disengaged from work while enjoying the acrobatics- and comedians show.
A Successful Month Comes to an End

We mark a milestone by sending off 5 dedusters on their overseas journey.
As we approach the last month of this eventful year, the upcoming weeks will be intense, but we are ready to tackle the challenges and ensure our customers receive their products promptly and satisfactorily.

Successful FAT and trials at Krämer AG
Last week we had the opportunity to welcome a valued customer for a Factory Acceptance Test (FAT). The focus was on our model KD7035A, a high-performance, high capacity tablet deduster.
In addition to the successful acceptance test , we went one step further together with the customer and carried out a test for a wet in place-light feature. The wet in place-light utilizes a fogging system that allows for wetting the interior of the machine so dust is wet sufficiently preventing airborne dust. The wet in place-light feature is utilized in a dust tight machine allowing for safe opening of the machine when full wash-in-place capability is not needed. The wet in place-light feature is for OEB 3 and 4 products where wash down and removal of the dusts is not needed. The experience and knowledge gained from these trials is of great value, and enriches our customers understanding of Kramer AG expertise in the field of tablet dedusting.
We are happy that we are able to continuously develop and engineer equipment to meet our customers needs.

At Krämer AG, we recognize that no two customers or challenges are the same. Recently, we had the opportunity to work closely with a customer to tailor our KD7070 deduster to meet their specific needs.
The challenge?
The standard size of our KD7075 combo unit wasn't the right fit. As a result, we proposed a more compact solution: the KD7070 with an attached metal detector. Additionally, water consumption needed special attention. This is just one example of how we at Krämer AG are constantly looking for ways to meet our customers' needs. Future days 2022 at Krämer
Today was National Future Day in Switzerland! In addition to the opportunity to get to know their parents' workplace, we offered to the children an exciting program with various workshops and excursions.
They were able to gain an insight into our engineering department and see how our machines are manufactured. Finally, they build a small electronical kit under the supervision of our assembly staff. The kids had a blast! We did too, see you again next year!

What a great feeling! Last week, after two long years of Covid, we were finally able to conclude our yearly Kramer Workshop at the beautiful lake of Lucerne, with our technical department.

Ernennung zum CEO der Krämer AG
In den vergangenen vierzehn Jahren war es uns eine Ehre, Dr. Walter R. Meyer als Vorstandsvorsitzenden der Krämer AG zu haben. Zu Beginn des nächsten Jahres wird er von seiner Position als CEO zurücktreten und sich auf seine Rolle als Verwaltungsrat konzentrieren. Der Vorstand hat Herrn Woody Schoch als Nachfolger nominiert, welcher ab 1. Januar 2022 als CEO der Krämer AG die Geschäftstätigkeiten übernehmen wird.
Der derzeitige COO ist seit 2013 für die Krämer AG tätig und hat verschiedene Rollen und Funktionen innerhalb der Organisation übernommen. "Wir freuen uns sehr, dass wir mit Woody Schoch eine nahtlose Nachfolgeregelung planen und durchführen konnten", sagt Dr. Walter Meyer, Vorstandsvorsitzender der Krämer AG. Herr Torre arbeitet als Head of Local Project Management bei der SwissCo Services AG und stand während und nach der Projektphase in engem Kontakt mit der Firma Krämer AG. Beide Seiten konnten dabei von der jeweiligen Expertise und Unterstützung profitieren, sodass die bestmögliche Lösung umgesetzt wurde.
Herr Torre bitte erläutern Sie kurz, wer die SwissCo Services AG ist und was die Firma herstellt?
Seit 1968 ist die SwissCo Services AG (Member of the Aenova Group) ein verlässlicher Partner für die Entwicklung und Lohnherstellung fester Arzneiformen. Wir sind spezialisiert auf die Handhabung feuchtigkeitsempfindlicher Wirkstoffe und Produkte und können von der Herstellung bis hin zur Verpackung alle relevante Technologie anbieten.
Was stellte für Sie eine Herausforderung in der Produktion dar?
Bei dem Projekt ging es in erster Linie darum, den Ausstoss der gesamten Tablettenpresse zu erhöhen. Hierfür musste ein sogenannter Segmentrotor in die Tablettenpresse integriert und qualifiziert werden. Der bestehende Entstauber lieferte jedoch nicht die notwendige Entstaubungs- und Förderleistung um den Ausstoss zu bewältigen. Aus diesem Grund wurde in Zusammenarbeit mit der Krämer AG die Lösung mit Entstaubern inkl. V5000 12-fach Verteilsystem erarbeitet. Das neue KD7015A System ist wesentlich leiser, effizienter und staubdicht ausgeführt, was ein wichtiger Nebeneffekt in Punkto Arbeitssicherheit für die Mitarbeiter ist.
Eine weitere Herausforderung für den generellen Umbau des Raumes und das Upgrade der Tablettenpresse lag in erster Linie am engen Zeitfenster vor den Weihnachtsfeiertagen im Jahr 2020, da die betroffene Tablettenpresse sehr gut ausgelastet ist und an fünf Tagen die Woche 24-Stunden betrieben wird. Dadurch mussten alle Gewerke, Lieferungen und Qualifizierungsaktivitäten für die Implementierung der zwei Tablettenentstauber sowie den dazugehörigen 12-fach Verteilsystemen aufeinander abgestimmt sein.

Zur Krämer AG verbindet uns eine langjährige, vertrauensvolle Zusammenarbeit. Die Grundlage für unsere Entscheidung stellte aber die technische Lösung zu unseren Anforderungen dar. Das Gesamtpaket bestehend aus Technik, Service und Kosten überzeugte vollends.

KD6010 Serie:
Dank eines Redesigns ist die KD60 Serie jetzt in folgenden Förderhöhen erhältlich: 250, 500 und 750 mm. Alle produktberührenden Teile sind aus Edelstahl. Ein- und Auslauf können unabhängig voneinander gedreht werden, was eine maximale Flexibilität bei der Platzierung der Maschine in der Produktionsstätte ermöglicht. Dieser Entstauber beinhaltet unser einzigartiges patentiertes Gegengewichtssystem mit integriertem Beschleunigungssensor. Das Modell KD6015 kann mit einem Metalldetektor von Ceia, Lock oder Safeline kombiniert werden.

Neue ATEX Klassifizierung
In der Pharmaindustrie wird oft mit Stoffen in Form von Stäuben umgegangen. Diese sind brennbar und können im Gemisch mit Sauerstoff eine explosionsfähige Atmosphäre bilden.
Für Krämer bedeutet dies, dass unsere Entstauber und Kapselpolierer unter Berücksichtigung von möglichen Fehlern, keine Zündquellen darstellen dürfen. Gerade deshalb ist Krämer bestrebt, die Sicherheitsvorkehrung rund um unsere Maschinen immer weiterzuentwickeln und auf dem neusten Stand zu halten.
Kontinuierliche Inprozesskontrolle leicht gemacht
Inprozesskontrollen (In Process Control, Abk. IPC) sind in der Herstellung von Tabletten und Kapseln zwecks Qualitätsmanagements ein Muss. Während des Produktionsprozesses werden in regelmässigen Zeitabständen Muster gezogen, um die wichtigsten Qualitäts-Parameter, wie Gewicht, Härte, Dicke und Durchmesser zu ermitteln. Dieser Test erfolgt wahlweise nach der Tablettenpresse / Kapselfüllanlage oder nach der Produktentstaubung.
Für diesen spezifischen Schritt hat Krämer ein Füllsystem, bestehend aus einem oder zwei Zwischenbehältern, erhältlich in verschiedenen Volumina, entwickelt. Dank dieser Lösung kann der Produktionsprozess, im Falle einer Nichterfüllung eines Qualitätsmerkmals, kontinuierlich weitergeführt werden. Der Ausschuss beschränkt sich dabei auf den Inhalt des Zwischenbehälters und somit nur auf einen Bruchteil des gesamten Produktionsloses.
Kombinierbar ist das System mit allen Entstaubern der KD70-DT Serie. Für die Variante mit zwei Behältern kommt die Weiche KV2010 in manueller Ausführung oder KV2020 für den automatisierten Betrieb zum Einsatz. Am Auslauf der Behälter ermöglichen spezielle 4“ Tri-Clamp Ventile mit Silikonklappen eine schonende Zuführung der Tabletten in den Hauptbehälter. Optional können die Füllstände der Zwischenbehälter mittels Sensoren überwacht werden. Die Kontrolle des Systems erfolgt entweder durch die integrierte Krämer Steuerung oder über die Tablettenpresse / Kapselfüllanlage.

Krämer lanciert Kapselpolierer
Der neue Krämer Kapselpolierer KCP ermöglicht das Polieren, Entstauben und Hochfördern aller gängigen Kapselgrössen.
Die spiralförmige Drehbürste, speziell für Kapselanwendungen entworfen, poliert sanft und entfernt überschüssigen Staub. Die perforierte Zylinderwand ermöglicht eine optimale Absaugung des Reststaubs. Der Auslass kann mit verschiedenen Peripherie-Geräten wie z.B. Metall-Detektoren, Leerkapsel-Sortierern und Verteilern verbunden werden.

Dank einzigartigem Pioniergeist und unnachgiebiger Innovationslust ist die Firma Krämer zum weltweit führenden Anbieter für Wash-in-Place-Lösungen geworden. So auch mit der neusten Gerätegeneration KD70 WIP, die eine umfassende High-Containment-Lösung (OEB 5) für die Produktion von hoch-aktiven und hoch-potenten Produkten bietet.
Wie von der KD70-Linie bereits gewohnt erfolgt die Steuerung des Entstaubers, der Peripherie sowie nun auch die Programmierung der Waschsequenzen komplett auf einem einzigen, benutzerfreundlichen Touchscreen.

Krämer veröffentlicht eine eigene App
Krämer hat eine gratis App für Smartphones entwickelt, die dabei hilft, die korrekte Funktion von Krämer-Entstaubern sicherzustellen. Davon ausgenommen sind die ältesten Modelle E79, E80 und E92.
Die App ist eine von zahlreichen Krämer-Innovationen der jüngeren Vergangenheit. Das praktische Diagnose-Werkzeug erkennt, ob die Vibrationen auf dem Entstauber-Gehäuse innerhalb der zulässigen Begrenzungen liegen. Überhöhte Gehäuse-Vibrationen können ein Indikator dafür sein, dass ein Service nötig ist. Wenn der App-Zeiger innerhalb des grünen Bereichs bleibt, arbeitet der Entstauber wunschgemäss. Der gelbe Bereich deutet darauf hin, dass in naher Zukunft ein Service nötig wird und der Rote Bereich ist ein klares Zeichen, dass ein Service so bald wie möglich durchgeführt werden sollte.
